MEMORIALISATION
Staff at Glasgow Crematorium recognise that you will often have a lifetime of precious memories to hold fast to following a bereavement but for some a tactile memorial provides an external focal point to assist in assuaging grief.
For this reason, we provide a limited memorial programme which includes a personalised commemorative inscription in the Book of Remembrance in perpetuity.
The entry is done by a Calligrapher on site here at the crematorium which can be made available to view immediately by contacting us to confirm.
PLEASE NOTE
DIGITISED ENTRIES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO VIEW JUST PRIOR TO THE VOLUME GOING ON DISPLAY.
JANUARY/FEBRUARY/MARCH VOLUME - DIGITISED IN DECEMBER.
APRIL/MAY/JUNE VOLUME - DIGITISED IN MARCH.
JULY/AUGUST/SEPTEMBER VOLUME - DIGITISED IN JUNE.
OCTOBER/NOVEMBER/DECEMBER VOLUME - DIGITISED IN SEPTEMBER.
Alternatively 10 year lease options of a memorial wall tablet in the garden of Remembrance or a niche facility within the unique columbarium tower are offered subject to availability.
As a matter of course a memorial pack is sent for consideration to the person applying for the cremation. Should you not wish to receive such paperwork please ensure this is added to the supplementary application form at the time of making your funeral booking arrangement. In such cases no further memorial particulars will be communicated to you.
